Customer Portal overview

The Main Street Sites Customer Portal is a secure area of your website that you can use to share information with your customers. You can use the customer portal to post a private blog, share images from your classes, post materials for your students, etc.  Really you can post whatever you like on your portal and only your customers can access it.

A few words about security

The security model for your customer portal can be simple or advanced, depending on your preference. When visitors to your site create an account, they are assigned a default "Portal Access Level."  When you set up your portal, you can decide if these people should be allowed to access the pages in your portal immediately, or if you'll want to review their information first.
