Shipping Methods

Shipping methods allow you to estalish how the system should charge your customers for purchased items that will be shipped.

You can enter shipping methods by going to Setup > Store > Shipping Methods. Here is a sample set of shipping methods:

To edit or delete a shipping method, hover over it and click the blue down arrow on the far right. This action displays a drop-down list with both the "Edit" and "Delete" commands. You can also edit a shipping method by clicking the name (e.g., 2nd Day). This action takes you to Edit Shipping Method (shown below).

Click the "Add" button to add a new shipping method. You will be presented with a form to fill out. Enter the information about the shipping method and click the "Save & Return" button to add the shipping method to the list.

Here is an example of a shipping method. Note that the shipping method can apply to all US and Canadian states and provinces or to a selected list.

Shipping rates can be based on the total order amount or on the total order quantity. When the basis for the shipping rates is the total order amount, the shipping charges can be entered as raw numbers or as a percentage of the order amount.
