Adding, editing and deleting demos (General)

You can add, edit and delete demos from several different places in Main Street Sites.

Where can you add, edit and delete demos?

  1. From Manage > Classes > Classes.

    Use this page to see all demos for a single class at one time (on the "Class Meetings" tab). See Adding editing and deleting demos (from Manage > Classes > Classes) for details.

  2. From Manage > Classes > Class Meetings.

    Use this page to see demos for any class meeting. See Adding editing and deleting demos (from Manage > Classes > Class Meetings) for details.

  3. From Manage > Make-Ups and Demos > Demos.

    Use this page to see any and all demos in your account at one time. See Adding editing and deleting demos (from Manage > Make-Ups and Demos > Demos) for details.

Entering a new demo

Demos are typically added directly on your website by your customers. However, you can add demos yourself on any of the pages listed above.

After selecting the command to add a demo, follow the steps described in Entering a demo.

A "Demo has been scheduled" notification will be automatically sent to you, your customer and the teacher of the class when the demo is created.

Editing demos

You can edit existing demos by selecting the "Edit" command for any of the class meetings or demos on one of the pages listed above. (To access the "Edit" command, hover over the class/demo and click the far right blue down arrow.)

No notifications are generated when a demo is edited in this way. You may need to notify your customer and/or teacher about the changes. 

Deleting demos

To delete a demo, select the "Delete" command for any of the class meetings or demos on one of the pages listed above. (To access the "Delete" command, hover over the class/demo and click the far right blue down arrow.)

A "Demo has been cancelled" notification will be automatically sent to you, your customer and the teacher of the class when the demo is deleted.
