How to add a blog to your website

To add a blog for your website, you will first need to create the blog as described in How to create a Blog.

If you want to add a link to your blog within the Customer Portal, please see How to add a blog to your portal.

You can add link to your blog using a custom menu or by putting a link on any of your pages.

Linking to your blog from a custom menu

This is an excellent option as long as you have enabled a custom menu for your site. Please see How to customize your menu for information on how to enable a custom menu.

When you create your blog, take notice of the address for the blog, as shown in this example:

You will use that address when you add the blog to your custom menu.

When adding the item to the menu, select the URL option and enter the address to your blog, as shown here.

The blog will be added to your menu once you save your changes.

Adding a link to your blog to a page on your site

Adding a link to your blog to a web page is easy. Go to the page where you want to add the link, and click on the Link toolbar button.

You will see a popup form for entering the link information.

Enter text for the link in the "Display Text" field. In the Link Type field, select "Page Vault." In the "Page" field, select the blog.

Select "OK" to save. The link will be added to your page.
